Meet the Women Behind the Movement
What began as a small experience for a handful of Chapter 2 Movement sisters slowly became something much bigger.
As we talked, planned, and dreamed together, we realized something we couldn't ignore: there are so many widows on Guam quietly carrying grief, loneliness, identity loss, and the pressure to keep holding everything together on their own.
And while a beautiful resort experience in the Philippines sounded amazing, our hearts kept pulling us somewhere else.
Back home. Back to our island sisters.
So together, we made a different decision. Instead of creating an experience just for ourselves, we chose to create something meaningful for the women of Guam — a space for connection, understanding, encouragement, and hope.
That decision became Rooted & Rising.
A live widow experience created with love by women who understand this journey firsthand.
This is not about having all the answers or pretending to “move on.”
It’s about taking one small step toward yourself again… surrounded by women who understand.
